I love Dave Ramsey. I think much of what he says should be common sense, but some people just need to hear it again. His seminars have really helped two people I know to get a handle on their money.

I grew up with parents that grew up & lived during the depression era, as I am 14 yrs younger than my brothers. My parents didn't talk about money or finances. We have a blended family of 6 children ranging between 35 & 23 and as we grew, we shared more with the younger one and she has got it. We offered to put all six of our children and there spouses threw the FPU program, three took us up on it and it has changed their lives, the seed has been planted. The one's that haven't done it are wondering how the youngest has paid off 4 student loans, a 2010 malibu and is starting into grad school and has money in the a savings account. It's so much fun to watch them grow. Wish my parents had taught us more, but thanks to Dave there is lots of hope for all of us.
