I apologize sincerely if you got tagged because of me. I answered an email I thought was from someone sending me their pictures of their quilting thru this site. I did not discover this was untrue until I had signed up for an account. I cancelled my account as soon as I realized this was not what I thought it was. Now this site may be just fine but I felt tricked onto it and was not happy!!!

K3n pmed me that she received a tag from me and I did not initiate it the site did!!
So nothing bad will happen to you if you click on it but I would say to leave it alone because they used my email list to send out messages to get people to join their site!!!

I am so sorry this has happened and I really apologize! I try to be so careful of spam.

I have been but not from your name. Someone else on this site is having that happen to them. I tried to go to what I thought were quilting photos too but when I was requested to enter my password, I quit filling out the form. Now I am getting email from that site. I can't find a place to unsubscribe either. I flagged it to go directly to my spam folder.

Jacque I wish I had been that smart! I have set up an account on Twitter and on Facebook because someome asked me to and I never thought anything about it. But now I will be a little smarter next time!!

Thanks Amma but I cringe because I have so many of everyone's addresses on there that everone has emailed me for the template and now my list has been stolen! Oh well I will be repeating alot of I'm so sorry's!

The same thing happened to me, but it came from my sil...ofcourse I joined/answered the email, thinking it really was generated from her.

Don't beat yourself up about it...there are lots of these type of people out there that prey on us. You have owned up and apologized...it is all good :wink: :D :D :wink:

I have had people tell me they will send me photos when they get bookmarks done etc. So I just thought it was someone sending me those pictures. I went on the site created an account and discovered the pictures under that person's name were 2 pictures of roses. Nothing special and i got the feeling it was a singles place with lots of ads for that sort of thing. Nothing bad but I felt tricked!! So I finally found a place to cancel the account and then discovered the emails.
So if you get one (hopefully they are all done now) just delete it.

A computer friend told me these sites do that so they can steal your contact list and sell it to spammers. So beware!!
