with buying fabrics? I really don't think I do. I have a small stash compare to most quilters I know.

Well, I'm asking b/c my DH just finished my sewing room and as he was helping me moving my "stash" from another room to my sewing room. He said "this is insane. I think you may have a problem."

First of all, my "stash" fit one bookcase with three shelves. I do have project in my mind for all my problem. It's not like I buy to just stash it. I haven't got around to finishing up, that's all. lol...

nor mine, lol!
I have a couple of rubbermaid bins full, and two dressers full (that's 16 large drawers full) and a few bags here and there, and some still hidden in the trunk of my car. I buy because I like the faric, not because I have specific plans for it, now THAT's a problem, lol!

I have a couple dressers full. Some in bags. Nothing in the van, took it out. I have some on the dining table. Washed it and then folded it, keep forgetting to bring it upstairs.
When it's time to pack my room, I'll have to take pics of all the boxes I pack the fabric in. I pack it myself, that way, I know grubby paws haven't touched it.

I would pack it myself to avoid commentary.

But then there would be the matter/issue of all those boxes.

Tell him its better than keeping a ready supply of a variety of men

Your problem is him thinking you have a problem. :D My response would be to go buy more fabric.

look up some of the pictures on here of others stashes, and show him, then explain how you don't have enough yet! :D :D Also, if he collects anything, take pictures o that and show him.
