They are all so cute. My dog would never let me do that to her.

They're all adorable! I'm surprised some of them held still long enough to have their pictures taken. We tried putting a cute little outfit on our first Pekingese, Chewy. As soon as we set him on the floor he stiffened his legs, then fell over on his side and wouldn't move until we took the outfit off. We tried it again a few months later and he did the same thing.

Several years later, we got the outfit out and thought we'd see if Sammy (our little Peke whose pic is my avatar) would wear it. We put it on him and as soon as we set him on the floor he stiffened his legs, then fell over on his side and wouldn't move until we took the outfit off. This time we got the message and gave the cute little outfit to someone else so they could torture their dog with it. I don't know if it's a Peke thing or a dog thing, but our puppies definitely let us know how they felt about wearing clothes.

I agree - funny but creepy! Poor little pooches! Having said that, I used to have a GSD who LOVED to wear a santa hat at Christmas - as soon as she saw it, she'd come up to me and offer her head to have it put on. But then she loved Christmas - she used to get her own stocking and open all the presents herself. At other times, she liked to wear a bandana, and she'd carry my purse to the shops. But she was a dog in a million and I still miss her.

But I don't think my Dougal Dog would tolerate any of this! :D

This was so cute! I am not one to dress my little dogs but hey, when you get older you'll do most anything to entertain the grandchildren. My little dogs love to play dress up, especially if you tell them it's just for them! LOL! I saved a picture of two white dogs (I have white dogs) wearing a black sweater with great big embroidered eyeballs on the back. I don't know if I'll be able to digitize the eyeballs before Halloween though because I'm not good at it at all. My dogs are always walking and running side by side (they're very close and protective, not to mention jealous) anyway so I thought it would be hilarious.

I'm so sorry...I did this last night (posted a bmp instead of a jpeg) Here it is as a jpeg so you can view it rather than download it first.
