My other grandchildren are now almost adults but I am so pleased that I have these two little chaps to make for. I am sure that if I also had a lot of grand children I would not be able to sew something for each of them. I completely understand.

Adorable! I have the 3 bears made by my grandmother. Still one of my favorite treasures and I am now a great grandmother!

Such cute little stuffies! No grands here but when DD was young it was all the rage to make things out of plastic milk jugs and I had made a large rabbit. Each year we would buy a new video and hide it in the bunny and she would have eggs to hunt for but the grand prize was the video.... fun memories.

Those are just too adorable! I think the kids love these kind of gifts from Grandma. When my GK's were little I always made things but I also gave candy. Don't know why because they always got candy from my daughter but I enjoyed it. To this day I still make even my own kids, some sort of Easter basket. They are 44 & 41

Betty, those are the cutest darn little pieces I've ever seen. The chairs! OMG...the stuffies, the little treats for them. Adorable to the max. What a wonderful Grandmother you are.

I also never liked to fill (my daughters') baskets with candy. I made up my own baskets and filled them with little gifts (I wasn't sewing then) such as cute socks, petite stuffed animals, art supplies, beading kits, etc. I ceased the practice when they were in their late twenties - end of a tradition which their mom loved just as much as the recipients.

I'm with Tartan, the little bitty bunnies have a story waiting. (The apple basket...! The little overalls...love!)
