I have one but have never used it for plants.
It's attached to the south side of the garage & somehow it's full of DH's stuff. :)

Our greenhouse has two windows as part of the roof that operate automatically to open at a certain temp. They are not electric. I am not sure how they work--on some expansion principle, I suspect. (This was a kit greenhouse.)
We start seeds in it in the spring and then in the summer we grow cukes there cause the beetles destroy them if we grow them outdoors. The door has a screen but if it is really hot, we leave the door propped open all day.

I *wish* I had a greenhouse!

It would never pay for itself, though, so it's only a pipe dream for me...

I have a greenhouse - but only use it to put plants in in the late winter before they are planted. It's to hot in the summer and cold in the winter and the cost of heating and cooling seemed to much. My granddaughters play in it all the time with doors open on either end there is a nice breeze.

We have greenhouses and we have fans, roof windows and misting. Heating and cooling is a key. Also with the summer we white wash the roof.
