Those yummy, candy-sweet little clementine oranges? I finally got some at Walmart tonight. I LOVE these things. I wait all year and pig out on them all winter. And I only buy the Cuties brand if I can. They're grown in California and have always been consistently good where others have been off and on.

Yes, I love them. And this is the time of year when Naval Oranges come off, they are lovely too. Kids love the little Clementines, the sweetness and size and ease of peeling appeals to them. And adults also.

Yes!!!! I really like them too.
I have been wanting to plant a tree in my yard. Maybe this spring. We recently cut down a peach tree that wasn't producing and I want a Tangerine and maybe a Nectarine tree. I already have Lemon Lime and Orange trees!

Last weekend our local WM didn't have any Cuties brand. The whole family loves them but by the time they reach central Illinois they're usually bruised and some in the bag have started to rot. All citrus reminds me of Christmas. As a child we didn't get a lot of citrus because Mom and Dad couldn't afford it---juice now and then but that was it. Until Christmas! They had friends that lived in Florida and every year they'd send a bushel of oranges and one of grapefruit. We always got a grapefruit and an orange in our stocking then after Christmas those luscious fruits were plentiful.
