Betty doesn't always get me to where I am going either... Great tip about not putting in home address though, never thought about it.

Made me think that several things like insurance cards have our addresses on them - something I had never thought about.

I never leave my GPS in my car.
I don't have my address marked as "home". It's simply an address, along with 50+ others I have stored.

Me, too!

The thing is, people are going to do what they're going to do. I drive a rather ostentatious car and no doubt It'll be broken into at some point, but the security system on the house (and four dogs) are usually a decent enough deterrent. And if not, there's the secret service guy who lives next door and works nights... :wink:

All that said, if they left my pets alone there's insurance for everything else.

Oh geez!!

I keep a close tab on ours. I check it every time after we spend anything. I had my Visa card number stolen awhile back. Amazon.com contacted my bank and my card was immediately cancelled. A little inconvenient but well worth it. It was just a matter of minutes from the time they tried to use it and it was cancelled.

he,he. i don't even know how to designate my home address as "home".
and when ever i put my address in online maps for directions, i use my neighbors house number.not mine.
