Who's on first? Abbott and Costello

From the old song See you later, alligator.

Goodnight John Boy from The Waltons

I have a good friend that says "I don't think so Tim" from Home Improvement. It hasn't gotten old yet as she has perfect timing as to when to say it!

I just remembered one about 2 pickup trucks backing a boat down the boat ramp. One had comercials about how tough they were, but this time it had trouble and kind of sunk or something.....'like a rock!' I think of that when someone is bragging. Many times they are setting themselves up for a fall.

[quote=aorlflood]"And we're walking..." from the Progressive commercial.

That is a quote from the movie "Dave". I think Progressive is quoting the movie.

I always ask my DH, "Would ya please pass the jelly?" from the Pollener all-fruit (sp?) commercial from years ago. I always say it in my best hillbilly accent like the guy from the commercial.

Not from commercials, but I simply cannot cook spinach without singing the Popeye the Sailor song. If DH is around, he has to do the "toot, toot!"

And I cannot cook pork chops without saying, "pork chopsh, and apple shaush," just like Bobby Brady trying to imitate Bogie.

I also often answer the phone, "Chel-lo!" just like J.J. Evans from Good Times. I'm sure I have lots more. I don't know weather to be proud or embarrassed...
