I have harvest things that I put out by the front door for Thanksgiving. I live in an apartment so I can't go all out but I do what I can. I even have my neighbor across the hall from me decorating too.

I just add a little to the scarecrows I already have up. But, I am itching to put up Christmas decorations. I love to do it and have a new house to decorate for the first time.

Mike and I don't have our kids all the time, so I wanted to make pumpkins that wouldn't rot...and now I will have them forever =D

In October I put out some fall flowers (silk) and set a few ceramic pumpkins. I have a fall quilt I hang at the end of the hallway. The weekend after Thanksgiving, I change the flowers to pointsettias and holly for Christmas. I have a crystal bowl filled with pretty ornaments and Christmas quilt for the hall wall. I usually change the table runners and tableclothes also. I don't do too much anymore like most of you.
