That's funny....But, I do have a husband that is a real keeper. Been married close to 40 yrs now.

He does laundry
He does grocery shopping
He does housework
Cooks meals
Does clean up....

You ask and he will do.

See....he is a keeper, and no you can't have him

My husband was 12 1/2 years older than me so I always said when he retired I would go to work, which is what pretty much happened. I had started working about a year before he retired. I said he could do everything since I had done it for so many years plus raising 4 kids, while he travelled; and I might add that he thought I didn't do any of it right. And he did everything and never let me forget it. When I would walk in the door he would make sure I knew he had mopped the floor. He did all the laundry, but left it wrinkled in the basket for me to fold. I got awfully tired of steak or pork chops, baked potatos and salad, but I never complained. At least I didn't have to do the stuff in addition to a full time job. Now it is just me doing the yard work and the cleaning, and the sewing, and....and....and....but I never complain.

If something brakes around here I fix it are tear it up trying to fix it. It gets worse I fix his dinner plate and take it too him lay out his clothes run his bath do I spoil him dang right

My husband is from the old school that the women do all that's needed in the house and the men take care of everything outside unless they need help. LOL

My husband is the tidy freak...and I am not so tidy at times but I am a clean freak...so between us we have a pretty good think going...LOL. And shares in the cooking as well. He won't do laundry though, or clean bathrooms...but I will gladly take those on myself. I married a wonderful man

OMG!! Can I clone him????

I got a good one. When we first lived together we both worked and I told him I didn't own the housework. I cooked, he loaded dishwasher. I shopped & cooked (I wanted to). We both cleaned and went to the laundromat together. Once we had a house I liked doing yard work and we hired out house cleaning. he continued to do laundry. And car stuff and repair stuff.

Now I'm disabled and unable to do much and he'd rather I use what little energy I have to play with him (we are both retired), so he does all dishes, tho he complains about unloading dishwasher from time to time, so if I've got energy I'll do it, does all laundry, shopping (I make up list), he has found a cheap place to buy flower bouquets weekly, we both will run a vac once in a while, dust a little, etc. It's time to find a new house cleaner. We both are clutterers and if we have some one coming in every 2 weeks it forces us to be neater. Part of my job is all paperwork and complaints...sometimes that gets to be a full time job!

Sadly, we both spend waaayyy too much time in doctor's waiting rooms. He jokes he should have a time card and it's not too far from the truth. I gotta say he stepped up to the plate a long time ago. I knew too many women who became disabled and their husbands walked out on 'em to ever complain too much.

My husband is the best ever! We share all the duties -- cooking, cleaning, airplane building (his hobby); and he's always so handy when I have an "engineering" problem with my quilting or crafting.

I figure since we both work we both need to do house work. I work more hours and am on my feet. He sits all day and says he needs to rest when he gets home !!!! Once in a while I can almost get him to do the dinner dishes but he seems to get distracted by his computer before their done. His elderly parents live with us also so most of the care for them falls on me. I hate to admit it but it's really starting to get to the point where I'm getting very angry inside and it's affecting our relationship. Appears he doesn't care, he does what he wants.
