Default Doggie Sling

Does anyone have a pattern for a small doggie sling? Something to carry around the dog and keep your hands free.

Never heard of a doggie sling so I checked out the two web sites. How cool! My dog is a little to big but a good idea if you have a small dog.

Too cute, however my spoiled dogs are too big, but then I wouldn't trust them not to jump out.

I grabbed a jeans bag with a scoop neck front that worked perfect to hang in front of me with the puppy inside that left my hands free to walk the other dog. She was able to peer out and watch all the excitement! I turned into a big kangaroo that day with my pouch in front! A sight to behold but it worked well!

I saw this pic online and sent it to my husband, asking him why doesn't he take our little dog for a walk like this (he was not impressed).

http://www.mykarmababy.com/pages/BabySlingPattern.php

this is a baby sling pattern. i've made several...i still wear my 2.5 year old in one when he gets the crankies. this fall i made a fleece pouch for my brother and SIL who have the most rotten mini doxie you ever met. they love taking him out in it and Lotto loves being worn.
