Getting old earns us certain privileges and I intend to take advantage of every one of them!! LOL My sons tease me that when I can't take care of myself, they are going to roll me in a wheelchair to the door of the nursing home and dump me out!! Gotta love sons!!

If you've ever been around old ladies in a nursing home, you will know that they do really funny things and they are very possessive of their belongings. I assume it's because they have had to leave so much of their personal things behind and have only the bare necessities with them. They say things from the heart. She had not been treated nicely by her roommate and now it is her turn. LOL This is really a heart-wrenching story. My MIL and FIL were place in a nursing home together. Yes, TOGETHER. They were allowed to share the same room. For a while, they even had their own bedroom furniture; but later had to have the "hospital beds." BTW, it takes special people to take care of these old clients. It definitely takes someone with a sense of humor.
