Season 5 hasn't aired in the UK yet, so you won't be able to see it anywhere, even online.

I see with a donation to PBS you can get each episode sent to you. I'm going to wait until I can buy it all on DVD. Then I can watch it when I want! Love this series.

I watched last season in September on Jetflicks which is a paid service for mobile devices. So by the time my friends saw it in January, I already knew what happened. But I would never spoil it for anyone else because I would hate it if someone did that to me. It was from ITV and i'm not sure what network that is or where that's from.

I am watched Season 5's firs episode today on YOU TUBE. I put in search "Downton Abbey season 5 episode 1". A few choices came up for it and two were not good and the third was PERFECT.

My niece was in England and just watched the first episode there -- she did not share any details. I see now that Season 5 can be pre-ordered on PBS. I don't have charge of the remote so that is the best way for me to watch! Season 5 is supposed to have quilts on the beds made from the Downton Abbey fabric. If you go to Andover Fabric you will find directions for a bunch of quilts made from that fabric. I've downloaded all the patterns already!

I have my own tv watching area with a remote all my own. I don't compromise when I have time to watch a little tv. I want to watch what I want with no interruptions or chit chat. TV together time can be when sports is on as I have no interest in sports so can sew when I'm saddled watching one.
I bought a yard of each fabric in the Downton fabric. I don't know which pattern I'll use yet.

I will have to watch the first episode of season five again and see if I notice any quilts. I did see a beautiful counted cross stitch hung on a wall in one scene. As I stated earlier you CAN see season five's first episode on YOU TUBE. I watched it yesterday on my Ipad and it was a very good episode!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for suggesting You Tube for watching season five. I just got my Abbey fix and now can't wait until the next episode. I've ordered the DVD, but of course it doesn't arrive until the end of January. I have watched all of the previous episodes so many times that it seems like I could play all the parts. Thanks again.
