The Dress!!!

Here it is! My MIL helped a great deal with it. It was not an easy project at all, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. I'm finishing the cap tonight and adding a ribbon to each sleeve. I'll post some pics of my DD in it tomorrow night when she tries it on for the final time :)

I volunteer at a living historical site. What is your DD wearing this for? It's beautiful! My time period is 1830-1850.

Her 4th grade class is studying the Revolutionary War and she is being Abigail Adams for the day on Monday.
