My husband just ordered the Kindle Fire from Amazon and it seems to have some of the features you would like. I understand you can get books from a public library if you are a member. You might want to look into this. P.S. I get his present Sony. It is black and white but you can get books from lots of places and it is small enough to carry in my purse.

I have a Kindle, and I love it. There is a website from which you can download FREE books! I have downloaded a ton of books, and hardly paid for any. You can also sign up to have them send you an email every day with new books they have found for free. The website is: ereaderiq.com. I think you would really enjoy this site. :thumbup:

Ok everyone I really appreciate everyone's respones on this topic. I have ordered the Nook Color. Just waiting to get it in the mail now. Next question, I love Angry Birds and I know you can purchase it for the Nook Color, do they have a free version for the Nook? I was looking at B&N site and really didn't find any apps, books or anything for free.

Ok everyone I did it. I went and got the Nook Color, but so far I just don't know. For some reason I am unable to enlarge the print on the book I am reading. Called support and they told me on some PDF books you can not enlarge the print, well that is not true, I put the same book on my Sony reader and I was able to enlarge it so I just don't know. Anyone else having this problem?
