I live in Maryland and the epicenter was in Mineral, VA and it was felt all the way up to Maine. I was playing golf and did not feel a thing, but in my neighborhood which is in Harford County there were some rattling of dishes. Did any one else feel this earthquake?

I'm in northwestern NJ, about 50 miles outside of NYC, felt it, but wasn't sure of what it was until I turned on the TV!

Well, I was outside spilting wood and the phone rang I was up against my car talking and I kept feeling the car moving, as I notice the ground felt like it was going to open. It was a funky feeling I thought it was me at first(going through menopause) then I found out it was an earthquake. What a relief. I' m in the south-west conner of CT.

I was in Glen Burnie, MD and felt it! They had to close the Walmart because of stuff falling of shevles and broken glass, etc. Someone said their roof fell in.

I was in McLean, VA in a ground floor conference room. The shaking was pretty strong. We had to evacuate our building but our systems never went down. People were more emotionally shaken than physically. My boss is a CA native and she helped folks understand it really wasn't the end of the world. A friend is on a news crew and he rushed down to Mineral. He said aftershocks are happening. I'm home in Frederick County, MD now and not even a piece of paper is out of place. My sister in Wilmington, NC felt it too! Pretty amazing.

My dtr and dtr in law and grandchildren were getting out of the car at a restaurant when my 14 yr old grandson said he felt something and said they might not find the car where they parked it. They did not know about the quake until later in the day. They were in Washington, Pa. I guess he did feel something strange.
