went on craigslist and someone had a treadgle machine in great shape for $50---and I do not have the money with hubby out of work. So I stop at a yard sale on the way home and buy a little 40 stitch Brother machine for $2.00---it is missing the power cord and footpedal, but for the price I figure I can get what is needed. Well, found out from Brother International that the machine is set for European electricity. According to them, cannot use it here in the states and definitely cannot find the missing parts here. I am totally bummed.

Hey, look at the positive, you're only out two bucks. And you got some education researching. Go sew something and cheer up. Our ancestors had way less and they produced some cool stuff.
