The news is just reporting a 7.2 magnitude earthquake near Christchurch.

Praying that all our quilting friends in NZ are safe.

Oh, no - I have friends living just inland from Christchurch! Will email to see if I can get in touch with them.

Just received a news update saying there was a 7.2 quake in NZ. No other details.

Is 7.2 bad in NZ? It's a shaker but not a breaker here.

I was wondering where you are that a 7.2 wouldn't be a breaker. The only reference I could find to Trifid Nebula is in outer space, as in way out there! Just what part of the world are you in? :-)
