Looks like we lost another old star!!! She was only 79 and that's still young...What a sad day for Hollywood! and her fans.

She was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen (IMO). I dont think she was ever really happy though, sad.

She really was a star, very glamorous. What a contrast to the so called stars of today, there are only a few these days who could live up to her

Yes, she was of the time when REAL stars were made up and ready for photographs the moment they left their front doors. Now we have trashy looking clones who seem to have no pride in themselves. 20 or even 10 years from their deaths, no one will remember them, but Taylor and Lucille Ball, and all the stars of her time will live on in movies that show their giant talents.

woman, but like someone said not happy all the time..I
always thought she was happiest married to Mike Todd..

It's a shame to have all the riches in the world, but far as loves goes, I guess she never was able to keep it...
