Default Elm Creek Novels Fan?

Don't give the new plot away, but what did you think? Send me a pm if you want to start a book group conversation. I thought Jennifer C. made some interesting choices! Dotty

I've got to get her new book. Been anxiously awaiting it. Can't wait. And I see that she is going to have another one out I think in Feb. of next year. It's called "rose something".

I'm loving it. It just may be my favorite yet. I didn't realize the next one may be out in Feb.--just hope there will be more after that. A pattern book for quilts in "The Wedding Quilt" will be out sometime later this month.

I have read each of the Elm Creek novels and just loved them. The latest one...I could not get into tho. I actually returned it to the libray today. Did you ever start a book and not be able to enjoy it. Then later pick it up again and enjoy it? I hope this happens with this book. As it was too much history for my taste.

Thumbs up

I have read every one of her books and am waiting for my library to notify me that the latest one that I have on hold is in.

I love all of her books and just purchased the Wedding Quilt last week. I'm saving it as a treat to read while I'm in California visiting DD as I don't get much time to read at home.

I do enjoy her books but sometimes I get a bit tired of all the history and even in 'modern day' books, there is too much explanation about the current characters...sometimes I feel like I am reading a previous book. Kind of wish each book would just be a continuation of the previous. Still...like I said, I do enjoy her books and I will read the latest one after the holidays. Not much time for reading right now.
