I was thinking that the 8x45" long piece would be cut in half for two @ 4x45" strips.
If these were then folded and seamed on the long side, then turned inside out, they would make nice, long waist ties.
Perhaps the other 45" piece could also be cut lengthwise into 2 strips, joined on the short edge into one l-o-n-g strip.
Fold along the l-o-n-g edge, gather for a ruffle, and apply the raw edge into the seam between the front and back fabric.
Thanks for the silly comments about my graphics. I thought that apron was pretty cool myself, LOL!
