    fabric?

    I remember those plastic bowl covers with the elastic around the edges (before Tupperware became popular)

    Cute idea but I don't think it would keep food fresh and from drying out. Could be wrong.

    Pretty! They'd also be good at picnics to keep bugs away from the food.

    you could make them in so any different sizes to suit all sorts of things
