Facebook "dislike" button scam

I heard this on NBC today and also found it online at Cnet.com
There is a scam "dislike" button on Facebook that, if you click on it, it will show your info to the other person.

Yeah, Facebook Security sent out an alert on that yesterday.

I just don't understand why people so things like this. Don't they have better things to do. Guess not.
