How do I delete my account? I can't find anything about deleting it.

I think all you can do is deactivate (not delete) it in your settings.

I think you unfriend everyone, delete all text from your profile, delete all pics and if Facebook wants a blank page of what's left of you, let them have it. 8-)

to be completely gone, here is what you do (this is from my very computer tekki-savey daughter)....
you click on account, then account settings, then at the bottom of the page, it will say deactivate. click deativate. that is the simple way. you won't be 'searchable' at all. which is what marsye said.

You can actually delete your account and not just deactivate, but you have to write to them through email. I had to do it last year when I was hacked. I got several emails from them asking if I was sure I wanted to delete and not just deactivate. You have to be persistent.
