Default Atlas Shrugged fans?

Probably my second all-time favorite book (behind Tolkien trilogy)

You can view all of Atlas Shrugged the movie Part 1 here. Yes it's free, and you don't need to sign up for anything. Just click play, and watch.

I found the movie (as a movie) to be rather sophomoric and wooden, and I would have liked to see it done better. But the book deserved to be made into a movie if for no other reason than to reach a wider audience.

I haven't read the book yet but I understand the book is very good. I'm going to watch the movie on line. Sometimes, it's just hard to transfer the written word into action. Of course, I LOVE reading so I may be a little prejudiced!!

Do you really think a sophomoric and wooden movie is going the expose people too lazy to read the book to the philosophy of Ayn Rand? Ironic, isn't it since she worked in the film industry?

I read Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead about 50 years ago. Great books. The real person Ayn Rand was a very controlling person and hated communism.
