I don't know about you.... but I USED to be an avid user of Facebook..... that was BEFORE I found this Quilting Board. Now, when I boot up my laptop... my first stop (and many times my only stop) is here at the QB.

I love the support, friendship, encouragement, inspiration and the wealth of knowledge everyone brings to the table .... what a grand banquet among friends!! ;-)

Are there others out there like me? Just curious.

I was on Facebook for about 2 days, till I saw my youngest granddaughter (21) showing off her new tatoo of a star on her back shoulder. I politely posted about it and my dislike. I closed up Facebook and haven't been back on, I don't want to know what all they are doing whether its good or not so good. What I don't know doesn't bother me. So I'm happy with just the quilting board. lol

I love facebook to connect with friends and family that are far away. I spend much more time here though!

Way better on here! I don't get viruses and security breaches. It became such a problem along with spam etc I was getting because of other people getting hacked... as a result I haven't logged onto my Facebook now in over a year and a half and it doesn't bother me a single bit! I also don't need to know when everyone I know takes a breath or wipes their behind. This social media thing has gotten to be human to human voyerism and big brother all rolled into one. It's just gotten way out of hand and quite ridiculous.

well I just to like fb until I found this quilting board, here everyone is into the samething, we all help each other and no one insults any one. I fell like I belong here, thanks to you all, and there is no privacy in fb
