hoping to cool some of you down as well as share a bit of hope.
here's a link to see the maps, but overall this winter looks to be a little colder than normal, a little/lot wetter than normal except for a good portion stretching from Montana to Mexico, and more snow than normal. Maybe the water table will be back where it belongs next spring if this is true! Anyone else counting down til winter??

Nooo. I hate winter or any kind of cold weather. I am a summer person no matter how hot is gets. I also hate my power bill in the winter, had one month last winter it was 1,200.00 because it takes so much to get me warm.

well I have an easy solution, make more quilts, or one just for you. My avatar is the one I just made for my bed to go on top of the 10 blankets from last year. Fatt batt and fleece backing. very warm which I didn't like while sewing it together to flip it.

The problem with a "heavy winter" is flooding in the spring.

I'm with Jeanann...I hate winter!! I'm the ultimate "Winter Wuss"!!
