That is the nice thing about some collections -- they come in handy when needed. Been there, done that.

My collections now consists of fabric and feedsacks. Over the years I have had other collections: postcards, stamps, clowns, occupied Japan items, some dolls. Just had to stop, ran out of room for all that stuff. I still have the stuff, but now just concentrate on fabric and feedsacks. I really need to sell some of this stuff. Don't think my kids will want any of this stuff.

I collect a lot of Broadway actors/actresses, and Military Heroes - CodeTalkers, Medal of Honor Recipients, Tuskegee Airmen, Doolittle Raiders

My husband is the supreme collector.......... tools, antiques, guns, knives, hunting/fishing gear.... I could go on and on. Thank goodness, we have a nice large external building where 95% of his goodies are kept.


I like to keep clutter to a minimum in our home.... but do have a few things I like to collect:

Willow Tree Angels
Books (historical, novels, spiritual, quilting)
Teacups / coffee mugs

My state quarters went out of state to Reno Starting a new collection.
