It NEVER rains in CA

As the old saying goes, it never rains in California but right now it is pouring !! We have had unusual thunder and lightning since midnight.

Maniac - where are you? Here in Escondido we've had TONS of thunder, but looking out now I see blue skies. Sent the rain this way!

They say that about Arizona also but we have been sharing in the rain department. If only there was a happy medium of lighter rain for a longer period instead of short lived cloudbursts that dump a ton of rain all at once. For us the nice part is the desert smells so fresh and clean after a rain. The bad part is that rain here is always accompanied by tunder, lightening, and strong winds!
