Please pray for the people of Oklahoma City in the path of the wild fire.
So far two of my friends homes/property have been damaged. One of those friends is currently fighting the fire on their property.
It is also possible that the fire can come out to my area. It has been burning for more than 24 hours.
I am going to get my machines and quilts that I'm working on together as well as important papers, and my kitties together and easily to grab if we have to evacuate.

I have a migraine from the smoke in the air and I've been inside all day.

Pray for Rain and the end of this fire.

Go to Flylady's online evacuation suggestions. It'll get you ready to fly out the door with pets, foods and papers and clothes.

Right now...go....

So sorry to hear that.
My DD was evacuated in June when there was the huge wildfire in Grimes County Texas. It came entirely too close to their home. Also just last week the candle booth at Scarborough Faire (DD and I both work there weekends in April & May) was one of 7 that burned.
Very scary and heartbreaking.

Yes, Leota, I have been watching this on the news. A very bad ordeal. Already like 30 homes lost and 1 church. There are two different fires burning around OKC. Be very careful. I sure hope you don't have to leave your home. Good luck! :-(
