DH and I are off to West Haven Ct. this weekend to pick up.... A REDEYE 66 TREADLE !!! Won the bid on ebay for $57.00, of course I mentioned to DH that after the trip, she cost more like $257.00... He says no Toots, the trip is a mini vacation. So, any recommendations for quilt shop stops along the way? We are coming from NY.

In CT, The Quilt Shop is not far off I84, so it wouldn't be a huge detour. http://thequiltshoponline.com/directions.html

This is off your route a bit so I don't know if you'd have the time and want to bother:
http://www.fieldstonehousefabrics.com/ in Sidney Center.
The shop is insane. INSANE. Call first to check hours.

Have a fun and safe trip.

If you're on I84, there's the Quilt Basket in Wappingers Falls, NY.

Finally I found you on here!! I joined as soon as you left my house. It was so nice to meet you and your husband. I hope you had a safe trip home. Did you find the quilt shop I mentioned? Thanks again!
