I had an Ironrite Mangle, too. My mom taught me how on hers. The year my husband bought me one was the best Christmas. I ironed everything, ruffes, pleats, starched white men's dress shirts, jeans and slacks, all my kids school clothes, everything. I just loved it. I still love to iron, even by hand.
My mom had a mangle too and I loved it, she won it at bingo! I wish I had one now!

i fold my top sheet & bedspread in half lengthwise, then in have the other way again & again until small enough to put in the tote i keep them in under the bed..the fitted sheet is a pain, but do it the same way... i put them all in a tote under the bed in order they go on the bed.. bottom sheet, top sheet, spread, pillow cases. i have reached my pinicle of luxury, i have 2 sets of sheets for each bed in the house

that way i can strip the sheets off, start the washer, unfold the clean sheets & spread on the bed and be remade and ready for that nite in under 10 minutes... yes, i can be really anal...

This may sound really strange, but I hate top sheets. I get all tangled up in them and I'm about half scared I'll strangle myself in them, so I only use bottom sheets. I hate folding them, but my mom always made me stretch them, tuck one corner into the other and square them down. I still do it the same way. I put top sheets on the guest bed though.

I JUST LOVE YOUR IDEA. I DID THIS. PUT THE TWO SHEETS AND CASE IN A CASE AND WHEN CHAG. SHEETS, JUST GRAB THE CASE AND ALL IS THERE. THEY STACK SO NICE IN THE CLOSET. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT A HANGING CLOSET ORG., PLASTIC, HANG IT IN MY SPARE CLOSET IN DEN AND HAVE THEM IN THERE. I FLATTEN THE CASE RIGHT DOWN. I CAN GET THREE IN ONE SECTION. U KNOW, LIKE U USE FOR SWEATERS, ETC. THANK U AND THEN I JUST ADAPTED. NOW I HAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR MY TOWELS IN MY LINEN CLOSET. I WILL HAVE TO PUT MY IDEA ON, BOY DOES IT SAVE ROOM.

I only have one set at a time. Remove, wash, put back on!

I do this too. I started it so no one could see that I can't fold a fitted sheet!. No matter how hard I try, or what method I've used, they end up a rumpled mess. so, I just don't bother. I get it folded to the same dimension of the flat sheet, and pop all in the pillow case. The linen closet looks much neater this way!!
