Does anyone know what happened to Liz on the above show? The past few episodes I have seen it has been just Marianne and her daughter. Even on the opening it doesn't show Liz anymore.

I think she has retired to spend time with her grandkids.

Yes she retired. I heard Marianne state that in the first show that her daughter was on.
I then saw an episode where Marianne and her daughter showed a new quilt Liz had sent, so she is still sort of involved. Just not in front of the camera anymore.
I miss her. She was my favorite.

I miss her, too. I hope they will have her on a time or two during each series.

Our show was taken off. I miss watching it Saturday morning. But while looking through what all was being taped, I noticed that next saturday all the sewing shows are back, so maybe it was just gone for a few weeks for holidays. Then in the Fons and Porter Love of Quilting magazine for January/February 2001, there was an add for "Quilty" with mary fons. It's on QNNtv.com. So it looks like she's branching out on her own now. Should be interesting. I miss Liz too, but can understand if she wants to retire.

You are so lucky to have quilting shows on regular tv..we don't have a single show like that...

I was going to check out that QNN site but you have to pay for it so i guess it's just not for me. I would rather spend money on fabric.

It doesn't say anything about paying for it in the magazine. I hadn't checked it out yet. Now I won't bother. I'd much rather buy fabric too!

Wasn't QNN free once upon a time?
