A some of you know I was having a hard time finding someone to do my grocery shopping. After months of searching I have now have fresh produce and dairy something that has been a novelty since DD's accident last year. At one time this lovely lady quilted she said doesn't have time anymore so she stopped. Today she did my grocery shopping and brought along a quilt she made. One of my fav patterns a simple 9 patch. The quilting was done by the ladies at the local senior center. Since she doesn't really quilt anymore she brought me fabric, about 1/3 of a kitchen garbage bag full. Most was poly cotton which will be used for doll or charity quilts.(I only use cotton) However there was about 1/2 yd cheater quilt in pastel pink and green. perfect for a baby quilt and almost 3 ys of mint green flannel with little flowers. What a surprise not only did I get food for us I got fabric. DD can't touch anything but fleece and flannel from the nerve damage and the flannel will be put to good use either as part of a quilt or pillow cases.
Yes......... today I was blessed.
