I decided to collect a new dish set. I change sets every few years. I find a pattern and then slowly collect them. I could go on the internet and find them but I go to consignment shops and search...So far for my new collection I have found 8 Johnson brother coaches plates and a sugar bowl.

I did find a few brown pieces the other day, I like the looks of those. I love dishes...I love getting them second hand that way it does not cost alot and I have no problem giving away my old ones. If I paid alot for them, I would never trade them in. I also do not freak when one gets broken. I just hunt for a new one.

How pretty. We do that with silverware. We only need a few more place settings and will have enough to service 8. my husband started bringing home the butter knives that he liked and it just grew from there...Blessings...love those thrift shops, only problem they have raised the price of fabrics to $2.00 a yard and it isn't always cotton. oh well, it is for donations. Blessings.

my hubby and I went consignment shopping he calls it junk shopping...he hates second hand stores...but when he does not come with me he loves my finds. All the places I go to are very clean...of course there are those who over priced...sad when they price items more than when they are new..but for me no biggie...I love the hunt...I bought a nice sugar dish...or whatever dish for 3.00...I said you got off easy we went to 4 stores and I only spent 3.00. Now that is a date on a budget...LOL...I had a blast and only found one item I really wanted. I think he is getting it...
