Something funny just happened and I need someone to share it with and you guys are it!

My iron is always out and I have it plugged into an outlet strip on the kitchen counter and the ironing board is right up against the counter. I was pressing 2 rows of quilt blocks that I had just sewn together. I pressed 2 blocks, put the iron down and moved the ironing cloth. When I picked up the iron again, it felt HEAVY. So I yanked a little bit. Bailey, my Ragdoll cat, came flying out from under the ironing board, the outlet strip flew off the counter, the iron got unplugged, Bailey ran around the front of the couch with the iron cord wrapped around his foot. It finally came off as he rounded the corner and he FLEW up the stairs, never to be seen again! I just stood there dumbfounded holding the unplugged iron! I haven't laughed that much in a week! Thank goodness I had a good strong hold on the iron! Whew!

I think I'll go eat lunch now and iron later.....

That is so funny. They seem to always want to be where we are.

I have a Ragdoll too and she is always quite entertaining! Glad you and Bailey didn't get hurt!
