Funny: Newspapers vs. Technology

I was visiting my second oldest stepson today and asked him if I could see his newspaper.
He said, "I knew you and dad were getting old but a "NEWSPAPER"? We don't waste money or
trees on newspapers. Here, you can use my I-pad."

Boy, did it ever work!!! That fly never knew what hit it!!

At first I thought you were serious. The young people do not take newspapers. Just another sign we are old.
Then I hit your punch line and about spit out my coffee.

My son is a newspaper man and I was just about to rant about people not reading papers anymore. I know he'll enjoy the joke, too, when I send it to him.
