FYI for quilters with dogs

i used to deal with fleas on my dogs seem like they were flea magnets i was talking to a frien that said she had heard that spreading powdered laundery soap in the year would take care of nats.it did take care of the nats also i have not seen one flea on my dogs. i don.t buy flea controll anymore that stuff smells bad the dogs hate it and it gives me head ach for two days.so the fleas are gone.i purchased the cheapes biodegradable powdered laundy soap i could find .i have friends that go camping they take powdered laundry soap and everone asked why no bugs at there sight you guessed it powdered laundry soap

It's difficult to read your typing so I have to ask for clarification.

Are you suggesting to spread the soap throughout the YEAR....in the EAR...or throughout the YARD.

Thank you for the tip! It would be much cheaper than bug spray, I hate to use so much poisin!

Sorry, In the YARD? or in the ear? I didn't quite get it.
I'm very interested because we don't use pesticides because the dog has allergies to so many things.
