I have enjoyed sewing garments for many years. The gown is my oldest grandaughter's prom gown I made last year. I bought the fabric in NYC three years before and didn't know if I had enough fabric for the gown I chose to make. I was nervous that I might goof up the embroidery design with no spare fabric. But I didn't have any problems and she was very please with it.

Both your grand daughter and your gown are beautiful. Just enough embroidery to add interest and pizzazz (sp)-very nice.

Wow, you did a great job. I would be afraid to attempt embroidery on such a slippery fabric. Very nicely done.
