$3.90 last time I looked in my town. I'm not going near as much as I used to, but am getting more sewing done on the weekends now instead of running around,

Paid 3.77 per gal last week when I filled up. Had to make a 100 mile round trip yesterday and along the way took note of gas prices - ran from3.79 - 3.89. Seems as if gas stations have daily price increases. They can't be using up all the gas they have every day so why are we paying higher prices for gas supplies they haven't received yet? Gas stations have an odd way of doing things. The gas that is in the underground tanks needs to generate enough money for the station owner to pay for the next load of fuel. As the owner sees the price of the next load going up, he needs to raise the current price at the pump so he can pay the new higher price.

Gas is $4.08/gal. I heard that we can expect $6 by September! I don't make any trips that I do not have to make!

My Husband said it was the day traders that bid up the gas and oil on the market. They buy it when it is down and if it is higher the next day they sell it. Thats why it goes up and down at the stations.

I paid 4.07 here in central IN on Weds. Noticed on Fri that it was 4.17. Not only are we getting hit at the pump but it is going to cause the prices of goods to increase...trucking expenses. Add to that, the farmers use diesel to put out and harvest their crops. Really feeling bad for my farmer brother and my son.
