My understanding is that the mac mini is a powerful little thing, a full-fledged computer despite its small size, but it doesn't come with a monitor. I've considered getting one to hook up to my TV, which would be the monitor, so I could surf the internet on my TV and also stream shows and movies. Haven't done it yet, though.

Do you have a monitor to use with it?

We've had our mac mini for probably 5 years. We love it. It's amazing how small it is and how it does everything a full size computer does. And we have NEVER had trouble with it. No virus's, never a minute down.

Are you talking about the Ipad Mini? I have one of those and just love it.

Our son got us one for xmas 2012. He said he was tired of our always getting virus', and he was right, we'd have our pc in the shop at least once a year! The mini is wonderful, the only thing we don't do one it is play video games. I do play my brain games!! It does everything that our pc did - without the fear of virus' !!!

I solely use my Mac notebook - have had it for three years with zero problems, so I'd venture to say if you want the Mac Mini, go for it!! My daughters convinced me with one phrase "Macs don't crash!"
