I loved, loved, loved both the movie and the book. I thought the movie was excellent. She had a settlement in her divorce she was living on

I started to read the book but just couldn't get into it. Maybe I should have given it more of a chance but it just didn't seem to be the book for me, anyway.

We read the book in our book club. I liked it but I totally bought into her alcoholism so that explained a lot for me....UNTIL.....the very end. Like the last two pages. It made me angry that the women colluded to obstruct justice.

My book club is reading it now. I'm totally confused! The only time I read is in bed before I go to sleep. I have a book marker that says, "This is where I fell asleep". I think maybe I have fallen asleep too many times.

LOL!! I had a hard time at first with the jumping timeline and point-of-view changes, but it did eventually come together.

Read the book didn't enjoy it at all. In fact I don't think that I bothered finishing it. Don't know why it was highly recommended.

went to site, read blurb...apparently the girls are not true sisters, being that each has to search in different places for their history.........hmmm
