I have made a stain glass window out of fabric and want to put some "bling" in spots. The pieces I have are flat on the bottom and plastic. What type of glue would be the best?? This is a wall hanging so won't have a lot of use as far as bending/folding.
Thought glue gun but don't know if that will hold??.. super glue?? any thoughts???

The only sparkle embellishments I have used are the crystals made for fabric that are heat set. I don't think a glue gun will be a good idea. Elmer's all purpose glue would be better or any fabric glue if you have to glue them. Never super glue on fabric.

I think they will eventually peel off, hot glue doesn't always stick well to slick surfaces...

I would use more of an expoxy glue, a teeny tiny drop, using a tooth pick to apply it :D:D:D

OK to Wash It is a type of glue for fabrics. Jewel It is a washable glue for stones, etc. Both are Aleene's products.

Jewel It is the way to go. I used it on my daughter's dance costumes for years.

I use fabric glue to glue any embellishments that I can't sew down. Don't use a glue gun. Some glue on a toothpick. You don't need a lot. Try it on a sample piece of fabric first and let it dry really good and then give it a little roughing up, just a little, and see if it stays on. Like you mentioned, it is for a wall hanging. So the glue will definitely work.
