Have one of the first Dyson's and it is still running like a top...I love it! I am waiting for it to die so I can get one of the new roller ball ones. My daughter has one and loves it.

Oh nice, I go through a vacuum about every 9 months or so. With my allergies I just don't like to have them around for to long.

I get the walmart cheapies and they usually last for about 5 years. After that, I just let the kids take it apart and recycle it and buy a new one...and the kids just love taking them apart.
