My kids call my mom Ma'am. That is what my daughter called her when she started talking even though we had always called her MeMaw.

Our Grands call us Gramma and Grampa, little Great Granddaughter calls us GGma amd GGpa. When oldest DGD leaves me a note she puts GMA, that is how it got started.
