Default The perfect snowflake!

My son now lives in Colorado -- he took this picture today. I've never seen such a perfect snowflake!!!

oh my that is so cool. howdid he happen to take it? must have had the camera handy. sometimes you can get some really good candid shots, such as my avatar. was so close to her. could have reached out to touch, but did not want to lose any fingers.

He's just moved to Colorado and he's a nut for snow. So he was out taking pics and saw the snowflake on his sleeve!!!

Tell him to lie out some black felt and he'll find even more. When it's really cold and snowing, the snowflakes are spectacular.
Here's another cool thing for him to try if he likes being outside! Frozen bubbles. Blow bubbles at night and shine your flashlight up into them. They refract the light, freeze, and land like little balls all over the snow.
