is to a site that holds a bird watch each yr. The dates to watch are feb18-21. I have a bird feeder up all yr and can see it from 2 places in my house. All you do is watch what birds are in your yard and count them, if you go to the site the info is all there. Anyway, I thought there might be some bird people in the group. sharet

I'm glad. I just got the message today, so sorry I posted it so close to the count. When you go to the site theres a place to click on a map that shows where numbers are coming from - there seems to be just east coasters doing this and zi thought more people across the country would see this here - its to try and get a handle on migratory bird numbers overall. I also to this thing where you plants sunflowers and then count how many bees come to the flowers for a 10 min period. I plant them right next to a kitchen window and have a cup of tea or coffee and just watch out the window - its a peaceful thing to do sharet
