On May 16th my oldest daughter and I left OKC for our places on Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma to get everything ready for a BIG college graduation party for her daughter and daughter-in-law. My granddaughter wanted to have a big bonfire, wiener roast, s'mores, etc. We knew we had a lot of cleaning inside and outside. We certainly did but it was all worth it. The following weekend we had 24 people and 1 dog. Her 4 bedroom house was full my 2 bedroom cabin was full and we had 3 tents set up. What fun to have a large group at the lake again! We are all looking forward to another get together.

We also played a lot. On Sat. we went to an auction where I purchased 8 quilts. Love all of them! The quilts were made by a mother and daughter from Eufaula. The Mother died about 30 years ago and the daughter is in a nursing home in OKC. They both did beautiful work. I wish I could have bought all of their quilts!

Lake Eufaula is a beautiful place!!! That area is where I first saw bald eagles in the wild. Glad you had fun! :thumbup:
