So when i started my sewing career a whole whopping 1 1/2 year ago, i started converting pre-fold cloth diaper to contours for my son ( he had a diaper bulge that made none of his bottoms fit right). Well most of the contours has elastic some where in them...Yea i HATED putting in elastic..as a matter of fact i haven't made diaper with elastic in them in about a year because it was such a pain in the.....Well tonight i decided to make my Chunk a new fitted sheet for his new big boy bed and i once again was dreading the elastic. Then i remember the deal my DH made with the Viking dealer when i bought my machine...She had to throw in an elastic foot if she wanted the sale. So i dug it out of the case, read the simple instructions, did a test piece and then proceeded to the sheet. OMG if it took me ten min to do all the elastic on the sheet i would be lying. I love this foot...it is the greatest thing since well ever. My DMIL watched the whole thing, and asked me if it would fit on her machine...She hates elastic also, rofl.
Sorry if i was long winded..i just had to share, cus i remember it wasn't to long ago i was in tears with frustration over putting elastic in anything .Now i think i am going to make new diaper or 10 for my Chunk :-D

I'll have to see if my cheapo Brother has one or if I can get one for it. Sounds like a wonderful tool to add to the collection.

Well, learned something new again. Thank you, I didn't know there was such a foot. Will read my manual.
